A-line gowns are the most popular silhouette among brides, as they look great on every body type! This silhouette hugs the waist and can make your bust look great! Especially with petite brides, it can help them appear taller. Trying on an a-line gown will make you glow!

Mermaid dresses are also a very popular silhouette, known for being stunning, contouring the waist to the knee, then flaring out. This style emphasizes the waist and hips. Rocking a mermaid shows off your figure beautifully, and if this is a little out of your comfort zone, it never hurts to try! Some brides want to stay far away from mermaids, but try one on and end up loving it!

Like a mermaid, a trumpet silhouette will accentuate your hips and waist and flares out, but the flare begins at your thighs. This style will show off your figure and give you an hourglass shape. Trumpets can also be a little easier to walk around in since the flare starts a bit higher. We love this look!

Wanting to look like a princess? A ball gown is going to give you the Disney fairytale dress of your dreams! This silhouette flares at the waist, but has some extra shape in comparison to an a-line. Ball gowns accentuate your waist, and are known for drama. Your big day is all about you, so if channeling your inner queen is something that will make you feel super confident, go for it!
